This course focuses on mechanical engineering, which forms the foundation of mechanical systems, and helps students to cultivate the academic skills necessary to explore new technologies. The course is characterized by its wide range of subjects, starting with mathematics, and including mechanics, electromagnetics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mechanics of materials, measurement engineering, control engineering, machine design engineering, and nano-processing, etc. To acquire the basic skills needed for mechanical engineering, students also learn experimental techniques, mechanical design and technical drawing through hands-on activities.
